There are many tools bloggers need to keep there blogs looking good. One of those tools is a banner generator. I have searched the web for one of these that will give me everything I want in a banner maker. And today, my search has ended! I have finally found the best free banner generator yet and I am so excited I just had to share with my readers. I created a banner for one of my other blogs using this site. I normally like to use sites that will allow me to just put in the info and save the banner or get the code immediately. I am not to fond of having to sign up and create accounts on sites. It gets annoying when you have to create accounts and user names and passwords for every site you want to use. But, after I created my banner and clicked save, it asked me to create an account and it did irritate a bit, but it is well worth it! Free Traffic Exchanges

Generating traffic to your website can be extremely challenging. I personally do not use sites that I have to pay for. I use only free sites when it comes to surfing for credits. It has taken a while to learn which ones I really like, but right from the start, Traffic Swarm has been my favorite. I am very loyal surfer and a free member. Of course, all the sites offer you the option to upgrade or buy credits for more benefits and that is fine if you have the money to pour into these sites in order to get traffic to your site. If you can't upgrade, it will just take a bit of your time and effort to generate some traffic. I love Traffic Swarm because as a free member, you can earn 1-1000 credits on any single click. As of this post, the highest I have earned from a single click is 500 credits. I only surf exchanges that have a 1:1 surfing ratio. I do not see surfing anything higher as beneficial. It takes way too much for me to surf at 2:1 and 3:1 ratios. What that means is that you have to surf 2 sites for one credit, or visitor to your site. Any site I refer you too will have a 1:1 ratio. Creating Blogrolls and Blog List Archives

As I was surfing around the other day, I came across some really great info. Many bloggers may already know this , but I didn't and I thought I would share two things with my readers today. First is about putting a blogroll on your blog. Now this is easy. Basically, all you have to do is go blogger in draft, choose you layout to the blog you wish to add, click on page elements and choose blog list. Also, some newer features are adding Google gadgets, subscriptions links, and a search box for your blog. All of these options can be selected in the add page elements section.

The second matter I would like tend to is blog archives. I am not a huge fan of the blogger archive choices, so I went on a mission to find other options. So far, this has worked well for me because all I wanted was just a list of my posts. Just a simple list that would automatically update each time I made a post. It is displayed on the links archive on this page. For a while, I used the link element and just put in each new post. But thanks to this easy piece of html code, I am now a happy camper. Every now and then, I do have a problem with my archive not showing up, but that is very rare. Taking Online Surveys

It is true that you can get paid to take online surveys. Some people do very well making money this way. Personally, I am not a big fan of taking surveys. It is very time consuming and if you do not like to sit for a long period of time, this may not be for you. How do you know which survey sites are the best? This is a very hard question because there are thousands of survey sites and not all are legitimate. I have had experience with many survey sites and here is what I have learned:

• You must live the right area, be the right age and race-Many times when asked my location, race or age I was automatically declined to continue with the survey.
• Sometimes, the payment isn't worth the time- All too often survey sites will send you an offer of payment that will only be $1.00 for a 20 minute survey. Forget it!!!
  
• PTR sites suck-Some survey sites offer you surveys and PTR(paid to read emails). The downfall to most of those is you may only get 1/2 cent and some as low as 1/4 cent to read an email. Get real, you do the math. The only way to be successful here is to get a bunch of suckers to sign up under you and then you profit from their clicks.
• Only taking a half a survey- This one really pisses me off! I get an invitation to take a 20 minute survey and get paid something like $5 or $10. Fifteen minutes into the survey, you answer a question and suddenly a message pops up that says "We are sorry, but you did not qualify to complete this survey." Makes you want to rip the computer apart!
• Learn to lie-This is a requirement if you want to be successful at taking surveys. There are some companies that you will be offered a descent amount, but you will get disqualified for some reason. Remember what it was because chances are, you will get another survey just like it and it may be from a different company. Surveys about products such as food or shampoo are easy because even if you do not consume or use the product, act like you do.

Now if you would like to take your chances at surveys, that is fine. You learn from trial and error and I have made money from a few sites that I have weeded out. The only problem is I do not get alot offers from the companies, but I know they pay. Buzzback is one survey site I like alot. I may only get a few surveys a month from them, but they do pay and their surveys aren't really long for the payment they offer. Your2Cents is another site that I have been paid on time for taking surveys. How would you like to get your hands on a huge list of sites like this? Not only can you find out about survey sites, but mystery shopping, merchandising, and many other work from home job listings. All these are bonuses when you join WebColleagues.
